Hard-Liners,Unconcerned,Ambivalent And Welcoming:Which Group Are You In?
May 31st, 2006 under Immigration, Nathaniel Bacon, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

cloes-em.jpgAmericans hold strong and conflicting views about immigration that underscore the difficulities Congress will face in reaching a final legislative deal on the issue, an analysis of USA TODAY polling data shows. The disagreements are reflected in the Senate immigration bill that passed Thursday and the House bill, passed in December, which takes a tougher approach. A USA TODAY breakdown of public opinion, based on Gallup polls taken in April, May, finds Americans falling into four clusters. The groups can be characterized as “hard-liners,” “unconcerned,” “ambivalent” and “welcoming.”

Among some of the findings in the analysis: Traditional partisanship doesn’t drive views on immigration. Gender, education and family history seem to do as much to shape attitudes as political party or ideology. In Congress, too, partisanship doesn’t rule on this issue. Republicans are particularly divided. 23 Senate Republicans voted for the immigration bill, 32 voted against it. The four groups are starkly at odds on basic issues, making it difficult to see common ground. No one in the “hard-liner” group supports a proposal to allow illegal immigrants to work towards “citizenship,” but more than three-fourths of those in the other three groups do. The Senate bill includes such a provision; the House bill doesn’t.  MORE>>>

Border Patrol To Lawmakers:”Turn Off The Employer Magnet”
May 30th, 2006 under Immigration, Nathaniel Bacon, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

tjbon.atack.jpgIn his first public speech since passage of the Senate’s bill, T.J. Bonner, the labor union chief that represents U.S. Border Patrol agents, told a Las Vegas gathering that lawmakers created “amnesty on steroids,” when they passed a sweeping immigration reform bill last week. Bonner is a 28 year veteran of the Border Patrol and president of the National Border Patrol Council, representing 10,500 rank-and-file agents. After describing what he considers decades of failed policies, Bonner said the solution isn’t more Border Patrol agents, National Guard troops, technology or walls on the U.S.-Mexico border. The answer he said is to “turn off the employer magnet” and focus on the reason people are crossing borders. On building 370 miles of wall, as proposed by the Senate: “There are four ways to get around a wall -go under it, over it, around it or through it.”

Bonner also said he believed there were closer to 20 million undocumented aliens in the United States, and the very discussion of relief for them is already prompting more people to cross the border in hopes of taking advantage of future legislation. The Border Patrol has apprehended about 10 percent more border-crossers since March than during comparable periods in recent years, he said. This is the same phenomenon that occurred in 1986, when President Ronald Reagan offered amnesty to immigrants in the country illegally.   SOURCE>>>

Q:How Sick Can Society Get? A: Pedophiles to Launch Political Party
May 30th, 2006 under Hidden Crimes, John Fife, Top Stories. [ Comments: 1 ]

twoqueers.jpg We have obviously opened the door to every degenerate freak on the planet. When these people see that you are weak and will feel sorry for anyone who can label themselves as a special interest group there will be no limit to the sickness they will demand the “right” to take part in. First we have race mixing, then gay rights now this…AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Dutch pedophiles are launching a political party to push for a cut in the legal age for sexual relations to 12 from 16 and the legalization of child pornography and sex with animals, sparking widespread outrage. The Charity, Freedom and Diversity (NVD) party said on its Web site it would be officially registered Wednesday, proclaiming: “We are going to shake hague awake!”

The party said it wanted to cut the legal age for sexual relations to 12 and eventually scrap the limit altogether.

“A ban just makes children curious,” Ad van den Berg, one of the party’s founders, told the Algemeen Dagblad (AD) newspaper.

“We want to make pedophilia the subject of discussion,” he said, adding the subject had been a taboo since the 1996 Marc Dutroux child abuse scandal in neighboring Belgium. Source>>>

‘Path To Citizenship’ A Buzzword For Amnesty
May 29th, 2006 under Immigration, Nathaniel Bacon, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

A federal government consenses years ago found since 1970, 30 million immigrants have entered the country, mostly poor and unskilled. It has been estimated that by 2012 the figure will double.

The senate plan to provide illegal immigrants with a shot at citizenship probably is a deal-breaker that will prevent passage of a compromise on immigration overhaul. “The words ‘path to citizenship’ is a buzzword for amnesty. We ought to be honest, it is amnesty,” said Rep. James Sensenbrenner, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.

The Senate bill passed last week would tighten border security, offer a guest worker program to bring in new foreign workers and provide a chance at citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants already in the country illegally. Representantive Sensenbrenner, R-Wis said the United States 20 years ago passed a bill that allowed illegal immigrants to stay in the United States and become American citizens. He said that only increased the flow of illegal immigrants.   SOURCE>>>

Gays Push for Separate Gay Graduations
May 27th, 2006 under Audio-Video, Heather Wright, Top Stories. [ Comments: 1 ]

LavendarGraduations.GIFGays have proposed separate graduation ceremonies for gay, lesbian, and bi-sexual students called “lavendar ceremonies” or “rainbow ceremonies.” Some universities, such as the University of North Carolina, are already doing this. The gays, particularly Campus Pride (a national gay organization), claim that gay students have been through a lot in college (apparently unlike straight people for whom college is a breeze) and need another way to acknowledge these accomplishments with those who have been their “allies” through college. However, as MSNBC interviewer Tucker Carlson points out, this seems counter-productive to gays’ previously declared goals of being accepted by mainstream America. As Mr. Carlson also points out, the colleges that fund such ceremonies are colleges that already have resource centers created for gay students. In such places, more money and resources are already focused on gays than on the normal students. Finally, Mr. Carlson brings the real issue to light; that the gays are looking at this as a step toward colleges purposely attracting and recruiting gays. As Mr. Carlson wisely predicts, this will lead to affirmative action for gays and even 18 yr. old college students claiming to be gay just to get into college. “If you can go to Harvard for pretending to be gay, what the hell, I’m gay.” says Mr. Carlson. The Original Plan of the D.C. Snipers: Kill 6 Whites a Day for 30 Days
May 27th, 2006 under Heather Wright, Race, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

One of the two snipers who murdered 10 people in a killing spree that terrorized Washington has revealed their plans to kill hundreds of children, policemen and rescue workers in an attempt to shut down cities across the country. John Allen Muhammad, 45, and his accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, 21, brought America’s capital to a standstill in 2002 as they picked off White targets at petrol stations and shops in the city’s prosperous suburbs. The attacks left the Washington suburbs transfixed with terror. People knelt down by their rear wheels to pump petrol or sprinted into shops from their cars to avoid the snipers. Malvo testified that Muhammad, driven by hatred of America because of its “slavery, hypocrisy and foreign policy” and his belief that “the White man is the devil”, planned to kill 6 Whites a day for 30 days. Malvo further testified that Muhammad wanted him to shoot pregnant White women. At one moment, he even had a pregnant White woman in his sights in a fast-food restaurant. More>>>

“Hate Crimes” Against Foreigners on the Rise in Germany
May 27th, 2006 under Heather Wright, Top Stories. [ Comments: 1 ]

turks.jpg A rash of attacks against foreigners has erupted in eastern Germany, authorities said Friday, underlining concern over “hate crimes” as Germany prepares to host the soccer World Cup. In one incident, in Weismar, three foreigners from Mozambique and Cuba were injured. In another incident, in Weimar, an Indian was kicked and punched by 5 men who sang the German national anthem and shouted “fascist slogans.” In a final incident, a Turk was assaulted in Berlin by 10 men who “appeared to belong to the far right.” Although only one of these incidents showed possible signs of being race related, since all the cases involved a victim that was not German, they are labeled hate crimes. “In the east, the younger generation is particularly unsettled in terms of its situation and future opportunities — that is an environment in which extremism arises easily,” said Bishop Wolfgang Huber, the head of Germany’s Lutheran Evangelical Church. “In the eastern states, there is the phenomenon of hostility to foreigners without any foreigners,” he added, alluding to the east’s relative isolation under communism and relatively small number of immigrants. “The few people with a different skin color in the east are then particularly in danger.” Source>>>

Black Congressman Accused of Accepting Bribes on African Business Deal
May 23rd, 2006 under Heather Wright, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

On Monday, federal agents searched the office of Rep. William J. Jefferson, a black democrat congressman from Louisiana. Jefferson is accused of accepting $100,000 in cash in exchange for assistance with a deal involving contracts for a communications company. Federal agents entered Jefferson’s office on Capitol Hill Saturday night and Sunday to search for evidence of wire fraud and bribery, including bribery of a foreign official, according to court documents. Jefferson is under investigation for allegedly helping an American Internet company called iGate do business with Nigeria and Ghana. Kentucky businessman Vernon Jackson pleaded guilty in federal court to bribing Jefferson in the Nigerian scheme with more than $400,000 in payments, company stock and other profit-sharing incentives to promote his company’s business dealings in Africa. Last August, FBI agents searched Jefferson’s home in New Orleans and his home in Washington, D.C. Agents found $90,000 in stacks of $100 bills wrapped in aluminum foil and stored in frozen food containers in the freezer of his D.C. home. According to the affidavit, the $100,000 was intended for a high-ranking Nigerian official whose name is blacked out in the court document in order to ensure the success of the business deal in his country. Other details in the affidavit indicate that official is Abubakar Atiku, Nigeria’s vice president. The nearly 100-page affidavit for a search warrant, made public Sunday with large portions blacked out, spells out much of the evidence so far, including “seven other schemes” in which Jefferson was allegedly involved. Additionally, incarceration rates are rising with a 2.6 percent increase from mid-2004 to mid-2005 which translates into a weekly rise of 1,085 inmates. The states with the highest rates were Louisiana and Georgia, with more than 1 percent of their populations in prison or jail. Rounding out the top five were Texas, Mississippi and Oklahoma. (All of the top 5 being states with high black and immigrant populations). The racial makeup of inmates has changed little in recent years. Bush Administration Takes Both Sides of Illegal Immigration Debate
May 21st, 2006 under Heather Wright, Immigration, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

Throughout the Bush administration, the government has consistently argued both sides of the immigration debate. They claim they want Homeland Security and secure borders while allowing millions of illegals to cross the Mexican border. Bush claims that he wants to secure the border by sending in National Guard troops and putting up fences, while he allows the Minutemen to be arrested for “illegally detaining illegal aliens” and while he favors ”a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants and a guest worker program that would bring more foreigners to the U.S.” to steal American jobs. Once again the Bush administration engages in doublethink (see Orwell’s 1984) on the issue of making English the national language. Bush argues that the national anthem should be sung in English but is willing to support a bill currently before the Senate to make English not the national language, but the nation’s “common and unifying language.” While claiming to also support another bill currently before the Senate which would make English our national language, Bush sprinkles Spanish into his presidential speeches and has released political commercials in Spanish. Clearly the Bush administration is saying one thing while doing another on the immigration issue. Possibly because of Bush’s political friendship with Mexican president Fox? If Bush is willing to mislead the people about his true intentions on the issue of immigration and refuses to take a firm stand to actually protect our country from the illegal immigrant invasion, what other issues is the Bush administration taking both sides on? What political friends does Bush have in Israel?  Source>>>

How to Actually Control Illegal Immigration

Bush Fox While Bush and his puppeteers devise more and more ways to make Americans feel warm and fuzzy about their non-solution to Illegal immigration. I thought I would put out a one step simple plan for immigration enforcement. It’s simple really. Send just 5 business owners, lets say some big wig at Tyson foods, or a large home builder to prison and the job opportunities for illegal aliens here would drop to zero in a matter of days.. By the way, guess who actually enforces their policy of making it criminal to help illegal aliens? Read more »

The Revolving Door Of Justice

bustbrown.jpgSan Diego, California–The vast majority of people caught smuggling immigrants across the border near San Diego are never prosecuted for the offense, demoralizing the agents making the the arrests, according to a 41 page internal Border Patrol document obtained by the Associated Press. Apparently judges and federal attorneys are so swamped that only the most flagrant smuggling cases are prosecuted. Only 6 percent of 289 suspected immigrant smugglers were prosecuted by the Federal government for that offense in the year ending in Septmber 2004. The Border patrol made nearly 140,000 arrests last year. President Bush did not mention over-burdened courts in his Oval Office address Monday on immigration.

The lack of prosecutions is ”demoralizing the agents and making a joke out of our system of justice,” said T.J. Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, which represents the agents. The Justice Department in Washington professed ignorance and had no comment. SOURCE>>>

Mexicans Vow to Continue Illegal Invasion of the United States
May 18th, 2006 under Heather Wright, Immigration, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

Illegals.jpg.jpgMexicans say it will take more than three layers of fence and 6,000 National Guard troops to keep them out of the United States. Those defiant illegals preparing to cross the border claim that they will find a way around any obstacle. “We’ll go under it, we’ll go over it, we’ll go through the air, the sea or the earth, but they’re never going to stop us from crossing,” said Jesus Santana, a Tijuana truck driver who was caught trying to cross the border. As soon as illegals are caught at the border and sent back, they furiously dial on thier cell phones for another immigrant smuggler and plan their next attempt to enter illegally. Just 100 yards from the border, smuggling vans sit waiting to pick up groups of already captured deportees. The proposed 370 miles of triple-layer fencing, approved by the Senate Wednesday, as well as Bush’s plan to send National Guard troops to play supporting roles in border enforcement, has raised tempers and tensions. “Somebody is going to start shooting, and then there will be problems between the two countries,” predicted Santana, the Tijuana truck driver. The Mexican government of course shares this sentiment and views any attempt to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the United States as a sign of aggression (even though their own constitution outlaws illegal immigration).“Most countries want to bring their people together and tear down physical, commercial and cultural barriers,” presidential spokesman Ruben Aguilar said Thursday. “Anyone who proposes separating them is out of line. Walls are a sign of distrust, and that will never be the basis of a good friendship between two countries.” And according to illegals like Santana,“There will always be more people wanting to come. It will always be like this.” Source>>>

The “Bleed-Until-Bankruptcy” Strategy

31weber_184.jpgMany things can cause a loss of balance. One cause is danger, another is hardship, and another is surprise. It is difficult to move strong things by pushing directly, so one should “injure the corners.” If the corners are overthrown, the spirit of the whole body will be overthrown. To defeat the enemy one must follow up an attack when the corners  have fallen.

A leading expert on Al Qaeda has predicted that in the next phase of the terrorist group’s war on the United States economy, the number of attacks on oil infrastructure tagets will increase. Michael Scheuer, who served the CIA for 11 years and was head of the agency’s Osama Bin Laden unit, said that Al qaeda and its allies are well placed throuhout the Persian Gulf to attack oil facilities and officials. Another expert, John SK Daly, who also addressed the same meeting, organized by the Jamestown Foundation at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, said should a major terrorist attack on Saudi Arabia’s major oil facilities succeed the impact on global oil prices would be immense, dwarfing any other man-made event.

The High-Tech Smoke Screen Caper
May 18th, 2006 under Immigration, Nathaniel Bacon, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

uav.fut.jpgBetween 12-20 million aliens are in the U.S.-including large numbers of criminals, gang members and even terrorists-with countless more streaming across America’s scandalously unguarded borders daily. The issue polarizes the nation, robs citizens of jobs, bleeds taxpayers and threatens National Security.

President Bush has “proposed” adding a high-tech fence, cameras, and other technology to urban areas along the border to help thrwart the unending flow of migrants invading America. Bush’s technology proposals were included in a plan announced Monday to stem illegal immigration, in part deploying up to 6,000 National Guard members to help secure the 2,000 mile border. The last time cameras and sensors were bought and installed-a project that started in the 1990s-millions of dollars were spent on equipment that was either never installed or improperly maintained. A federal investigation was launched in 2005 after an adit revealed lax oversight of the program, which was designed to keep tabs on unmanned sections of the border at all times.

T.J. Bonner, the head of the union that represents nearly all U.S. Border Patrol agents said the plan was “underwhelming.” Mr Bonner added, “The whole thing is just a smoke screen.” Bonner said an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), which Bush also proposed adding to the federal border arsenal sounds good but it is overly expensive. Besides the one UAV the Border Patrol did have crashed in the Arizona dessert last month. “We crashed the one we owned, kissed that…tax money goodbye,” Bonner said.     SOURCE>>>

The Manicured Lawns Of America
May 18th, 2006 under Immigration, Nathaniel Bacon, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

laststop.jpgAltar, Mexico–This dusty economic boom town is the last stop on the line before a 60-mile drive along the back roads To The land of opportunity, the United States of America. There are no holidays in Altar. No ”Day Without an Immigrant.” On any given day, 1,600 people show up from all over Mexico. In April the high season, 3,000 rolled in everyday, according to officials who run the Catholic shelter. The International Red Cross here treats 1,000 people a month on average.

People have been streaming into Altar-the gateway to Arizona-since authorities in Texas and California installed physical barriors and increased patrols in the 1990s. “Altar is just like one big Wal-Mart,” said Sean King, spokesman for the tucson, Arizona, a sector of the U.S. Border Patrol. Businesses there cater to the thousands of migrants in need of traveling items such as food, water, shoes and backpacks. Vehicles rigged to hold maximum human cargo are waiting to take migrants to the desolate outskirts of Sasabe, Mexico, the preferred point of entry and the busiest zone on the border for the United States authorities.

The lucky ones soon find themselves tending manicured lawns in New Jersey or framing houses in California or Texas.     SOURCE>>>

But Who Will Protect The National Guard?
May 17th, 2006 under Immigration, Nathaniel Bacon, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

bush&selljob.jpg A civilian border watch group considers President Bush’s crackdown plan on illegal immigration insufficient and is sticking to plans to start putting up a short border security fence on private land along the Mexican border. Chris Simcox, the head of the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps, said last month that unless military reserves or the national Guard were deployed to the border, his group would begin constructing fencing on private land along the border.

On Monday, the President announced his intent to temporarily deploy up to 6,000 National Guard troops by 2008 to support the Border Patrol, but not to conduct patrols themselves. Critics have called bush’s gesture to “consider” sending the National Guard to the southern frontier as nothing more than a political ploy.

“This is a token deployment of unarmed and grossly inadequate numbers of National Guardsmen to the border, placing them in the same demoralizing position as the Border Patrol…outmanned and outgunned against the international crime cartels,” said Connie Hair, a Minuteman spokeswoman. “From everything we can tell, they’re going to be unarmed. Who will guard the National Guard? If it’s the Border Patrol doesn’t that defeat the idea of sending troops to the border in the first place?     SOURCE

Race Riots Brewing In America?
May 17th, 2006 under Immigration, Race, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

160506mexicans.jpg ASHEVILLE – A parting gunshot from a vehicle leaving Waffle House in West Asheville shattered a window and caused a minor injury, police said.

The shooting happened around 3:00 a.m. Saturday after a group of whites argued with a group of Hispanics at the 24-hour restaurant on Smokey Park Highway, Asheville police Lt. Wallace Welch said.

“The two groups were jawing back and forth with each other over citizenship issues and whatnot,” Welch said.

As the Hispanic group drove off, someone in the vehicle fired at least once into a large window near the front door, he said.

Whether from a ricocheted bullet or flying glass, Welch said, one man’s arm was bleeding when police arrived. He declined medical treatment.

Police were looking for a white Dodge Intrepid that left the restaurant going west. Source>>>

Mexico Threatens Law Suits If National Guard Become Involved
May 17th, 2006 under Immigration, Nathaniel Bacon, Top Stories. [ Comments: none ]

maskedmexis.jpg Mexico said that it would file lawsuits in U.S. courts if National Guard troops on the border become directly involved in detaining migrants.

Juan Canche, traveled more than 1,200 miles to the border and said nothing would stop him from trying to cross. “Even with a lot of guards and soldiers in place, we have to jump that puddle,” said Cranche, referring to the drought-stricken Rio Grande. “My family is hungry and there is no work in my land. I have to risk it.” This was one of many comments made in the media by opponents to President Bush’s televised speech on Monday that he would send 6,000 National Guard troops to the 2,000 mile border. President bush asserted the National Guard would provide intelligence and surveillance support to Border Patrol agents, not catch and detain illegal immmigrants.  Source:
