The NAACP held a symbolic funeral in Detroit 63 years ago for Jim Crow. The NAACP will do the same this summer for the “n-word,” Wendell Anthony said Sunday. Anthony, president of the NAACP’s Detroit branch, said members and supporters of the group will conduct services and a “eulogy” for the racial slur. James Nichols, a 28 year old white man accused of murdering Cha Vang, a 30 year old Hmong (mong) immigrant, will not be charged with committing a hate crime. The ‘Hmong Today’ newspaper cries for justice, and as a result fuels racial tensions in northern Wisconsin. Vang was killed in January while hunting with Nichols.

Steven Freeman said “Just because a crime is a black on white crime or a white on black crime or a Jewish victim or a gay or lesbian doesn’t necessarily make it a hate crime.” Mr. Freeman is the associate director of civil rights for the Anti-Defamation League in New York.

David Cho, 25, ran a red light in his Nissan Maxima and careened into the Q65 local, cops said.

Newsweek magazine recently published an extensive article entitled “Leading the Way,” in which the magazine detailed the lives of twenty “powerful” American women that Newsweek felt best represented the topic of the future of “women and leadership,” in the United States today. What I thought particularly interesting about the article was that the Newsweek cover displayed a “multicultural,” photograph of three women, one Hispanic, one White and the other black,” which is truly illusory given the fact that Jewish women composed the most disproportionate number of those Newsweek sought to portray in the article, and yet, the photograph didn’t include a Jewess on the front page.

In any case, the purpose of writing this short blurb is to highlight a few facts about media distortion and the inequity of this Newsweek article in particular. First off Newsweek, with its circulation of 3.2 million is the social engineering tool of the Washington Post Company once owned by the Jewess Catherine Meyer Graham and currently under the leadership of her Jewish son Donald Graham. Being that the news magazine is in reality a tool for shaping the consciousness and worldview of Americans rather than for the dissemination of news as one might think, it isn’t any wonder that their article “Leading the Way,” embraces a propaganda technique known as selective distortion,” which is well understood in advertising circles. I recently read an article that wired on the Associated Press about the problem of White Supremacists sharing their video clips on Internet sites like YouTube and Google Video. It was an interesting read, however the author of the article painted a bleak picture; one of hate, crime, intense peer pressure, gullible young men and women, stereotypes, and fear. I was about half way through the article when I paused for a moment. Just then it hit me like a bolt of lighting. Here I am, reading this article, and I’m reading a prime example of “one man’s passion is another man’s hate, and one man’s hate is the other’s passion.” That thought sparked the idea of ‘What if the table was turned? Wisconsin’s driving law may be giving unlicensed drivers a “license” to kill. 

Marvell Thomas has never bothered to get a driver’s license.  Two years ago, he was involved in a fatal crash that killed a police chief’s son.  He didn’t go to prison.  He wasn’t even charged with a crime.

A retired couple found shot to death in their Goodwood Estates home Friday appears to be the third and fourth victims of what police describe as a “mass murderer,” who struck earlier this week when he killed a teacher and her 80-year-old mother.

“We had a teenager in our community, who for unknown reasons, went out on a rampage and killed four innocent people,” Baton Rouge Police Chief Jeff LeDuff said. “He’s a mass murderer in my book and if you haven’t heard from your elderly neighbors, go check on them now.” Read more »

11 Fort Drum soldiers face charges for assaulting another soldier and his wife. State Police said the incident took place off post Wednesday night in the town of LeRay.

DADE CITY, Fla. — A 23-year-old man was convicted of first-degree murder Thursday in the sniper slaying of a popular county sheriff’s deputy who was gunned down two weeks before his retirement. 

Jurors deliberated more than four and half hours before finding Alfredie Steele Jr. guilty in the June 1, 2003, slaying of Pasco County sheriff’s Lt. Charles “Bo” Harrison. The trial now moves to a penalty phase in which the jury will recommend death or life in prison for Steele. Read more »

Police have fired tear gas and rubber bullets after clashes erupted following the removal of a Soviet war memorial in the Estonian capital, Tallinn. Water cannon were deployed and volleys of shots rang out as police confronted youths who threw petrol bombs.

Patrick Lucky Malinga, 25, of Msogwaba appeared in Nelspruit magistrate’s court on Friday on charges of robbing a woman of her handbag, which contained R30 000, outside Absa bank in the city centre.

LOS ANGELES — The parents of 10 black youths charged with beating three white women in Long Beach on Halloween night plan to announce today that they are filing a claim against the city of Long Beach alleging civil rights violations.

Nine of the youths were convicted while one was acquitted in the case. One of the victims has under gone facial reconstruction surgery, and another suffered permanent sinus damage and loss of peripheral vision.

The parents filing the claim are supported by a newly formed youth-advocacy organization called Justice for the Long Beach 10 and the Cochran Law firm. They planned to announce the filing of the civil rights claim at a news conference at the law firm’s offices this afternoon. Read more »

JACKSON, Miss. — The mayor of Mississippi’s largest city and two police bodyguards were acquitted Thursday of using sledgehammers and sticks to demolish a duplex he considered a drug house.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A York County man and his mother are accused of distributing “mass quantities” of marijuana in the Harrisburg area, Attorney General Tom Corbett announced today in a news release.

Officials have charged Michael Hite, 35, of New Cumberland, York County, and Carolyn Hite, 55, of Harrisburg. The attorney general’s office said Michael used his mother’s house as a stash house, where the two hid 28 pounds of marijuana. Read more »

A convicted felon and drunk driver in Solano County was supposed to be deported in 2005. Two years later, that illegal immigrant faces murder charges, and the victim’s family can’t get answers.

“Nobody wants to accept responsibility. None. There’s questions that can be answered and nobody wants to answer it,” said April Godin outside a Fairfield courtroom Wednesday, minutes after Isidro Pena Soto, 26, pleaded not guilty to charges of second degree murder, felony drunk driving and possession of methamphetamine.

Pena Soto is charged with killing Kent Boone, 33, in a head-on crash on Highway 12 between Rio Vista and Fairfield March 31. The CHP said he has four prior DUI convictions, is an illegal immigrant, and had two pounds of methamphetamine in his SUV. An illegal immigrant has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.

Pearland police said Isaias Larios, 20, spotted an 11-year-old girl behind a church on Third Street on Sunday.

“There was a young girl washing her hands because she had finished using the restroom,” Capt. Jon Matherne said. “He grabbed her, took her out back, made her climb a fence and sexually assaulted her.” An immigration hold has also been placed on Larios because he is in the country illegally, police said.
