MIAMI, Florida (CNN) — Police were called to Miami Edison Senior High School after a student protest became unruly Friday, officials said.
“A couple of hundred” students were involved in the protest, which began during lunch hour in an open patio next to the cafeteria, said Quintin Taylor, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade School Board.
Minor injuries were reported among police and students, and video from the scene showed several students being led away as if under arrest.

A groom gunned down hours before his wedding in a hail of 50 police bullets had argued with another man who may have been armed moments before his death, two witnesses testified Thursday at the trial of three detectives.
Two prosecution witnesses said they were with Sean Bell the night he was killed. Hugh Jensen and Lorenzo Kinred, testified that while exiting a Queens strip club where Bell had his bachelor party, Bell and an unidentified man exchanged words and scowls. The man, they said, stood next to his black sport utility vehicle and struck a menacing pose by putting his hand in one pocket.
“Of course I thought he had a gun,” Jensen testified. Read more »
Hwah Hwah, the lemmings have fallen for another Jewish hoax. Let’s see, Diary of Anne Frank….fake, Wiesel’s Night…false, and now this latest best-seller is a complete fabrication as well.
Almost nothing Misha Defonseca wrote about herself or her horrific childhood during the Holocaust was true.
She didn’t live with a pack of wolves to escape the Nazis. She didn’t trek 1,900 miles across Europe in search of her deported parents, nor kill a German soldier in self-defense. She’s not even Jewish.
Defonseca, a Belgian writer now living in Massachusetts, admitted through her lawyers this week that her best-selling book, “Misha: A Memoire of the Holocaust Years,” was an elaborate fantasy she kept repeating, even as the book was translated into 18 languages and made into a feature film in France.
“This story is mine. It is not actually reality, but my reality, my way of surviving,” Defonseca said in a statement given by her lawyers to The Associated Press. Read more »
The USA Today wrote an opinion piece which outlines the major reason for job loss in America, and it isn’t NAFTA. It is something much harder to fix and something which our current politicians are not ready to discuss. The problem is that with more manufacturing becoming automated, we need a better-educated and more trainable population. In this regard our population is trending in the opposite direction. Certainly the third world invasion will only make this situation much, much worse as we bring in more unskilled, low intelligence workers and their children flood our school system.
USA TODAY: As they go at each other in Ohio, presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama seem to be suggesting that the North American Free Trade Agreement has been a disaster. Both Democrats have vowed to renegotiate the agreement with Mexico and Canada or pull out of it altogether.
NAFTA opponents point to the 2.4 million U.S. manufacturing jobs that have disappeared since NAFTA took effect in 1994, a drop of about 14%. In Ohio, site of Tuesday’s hotly contested primary, manufacturing jobs are down by nearly 200,000, or 20%, during the same time. Read more »
Israel’s deputy defense minister warned on Friday of a disaster in the Gaza Strip after Israel activated an air raid system to protect a major city from increasingly threatening Palestinian rocket barrages.
As Israeli troops, tanks and aircraft went after Palestinian rocket operations, Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai told Army Radio that Israel had “no other choice” but to launch a massive military operation in Gaza.
“As the rocket fire grows, and the range increases … they are bringing upon themselves a greater ’shoah’ because we will use all our strength in every way we deem appropriate, whether in airstrikes or on the ground,” Vilnai told Army Radio. Read more »
A 17-year-old boy was arrested Friday and charged with killing his mother, who was a sheriff’s deputy, and his two small sisters, authorities said.

She identified the victims as Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Deputy Joy Deleston, 39, and her two daughters, Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4. Read more »
Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.: that is the full name of the junior Senator from Illinois - neither a contrivance nor, at face value, a slur. But John McCain couldn’t apologize quickly enough after Bill Cunningham, a conservative talk radio host, warmed up a Cincinnati rally with a few loaded references to “Barack Hussein Obama.” Asked afterwards if it was appropriate to use the Senator’s middle name, McCain said, “No, it is not. Any comment that is disparaging of either Senator Clinton or Senator Obama is totally inappropriate.”
The pundits were quick to applaud McCain’s fatwa against the use of Hussein, and broadcasters began trying to report on the controversy without actually saying the name too much, dancing around the offending word as if they were doing a segment on The Vagina Monologues. In both cases, the word comes off as not quite illicit, but certainly a little taboo.
So who gets to say Hussein? At the Oscars, host Jon Stewart took innuendo about as far as it can go, saying that Barack Hussein Obama running today is like a 1940’s candidate named Gaydolph Titler. But that reference, served up to a crowd that presumably swoons for Obama, got laughs. So maybe the H-word is more like the N-word: you can say it, but only if you are an initiate. Blacks can use the N-word; Obama supporters can use the H-word. Read more »
It’s official - Volkswagen is unveiling a hybrid to challenge the mighty Toyota Prius. And not just any hybrid, but a diesel-electric hybrid it says will deliver 69.9 mpg.VW’s been experimenting with hybrids of the gasoline-electric variety since the early 1990s, but the Golf hybrid it will unveil next month at the Geneva Motor Show is the first production model the German company’s rolled out. Volkswagen isn’t offering much in the way of details, but the car is expected to have a parallel hybrid drivetrain with a 2.0 liter engine. Look for it to have an all-electric mode at low speed, start-stop capability, regenerative braking and a 7-speed DSG double-clutch transmission, according to Auto Express and AutoBlog Green.
What’s all the techno-jargon mean? The Golf Hybrid will get almost 70 mph while meeting Europe’s stringent Euro V and America’s Tier 2 Bin 5 emissions standards, making it green enough even for California. The car is said to emit just 89 g/km of CO2. (For comparison, the Prius emits 104 g/km and Honda Civic Hybrid emits 116.) Read more »
In this bad economy gang bangers now have to use public transportation for drive-bys.
LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — A gunman fired into a crowd of people at a Los Angeles bus stop Wednesday, wounding eight, including children, authorities said.
The incident took place about 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Central and Vernon avenues, in an area of the city where police are concerned about gang violence, Lt. Ruben de la Torre of the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Whitecivilrights.com, Jeff Davis - Bank of America recently took over Countrywide Mortgage, the nation’s largest mortgage lending institute, which was in danger of going bankrupt. The stock market has dropped one thousand points in the last month as anxiety over the growing mortgage crisis increases. Our current society, obsessed with outsourcing, has made millions of jobs, which used to be reliable, uncertain, and many white collar employees are failing to pay off their loans along with the unreliable subprime crowd.
While a few thousand jobs at Countrywide may have been spared, the larger problem of millions of shaky loans still exists. The plunge in housing prices means that any defaulted loan will likely cost the lender a lot of money. The building industry will be severely hurt as lending criteria are raised so high that very few will qualify. The Great Housing Crash of ‘08 is on the way. Will you be wiped out by negative equity? For the first time in U.S. history, according to a recent study, more than 1 in every 100 adults is in jail or prison. The study ranks America as the world’s No. 1 incarcerator. “For some groups, the incarceration numbers are especially startling,” the report said. “While 1 in 30 men between the ages of 20-34 is behind bars, for black males in that age group the figure is 1 in 9. The racial disparity for women also is stark, with only 1 of every 355 white women aged 35-39 behind bars, compared with 1 in every 100 black women in that age group behind bars.” The report, released Thursday by the Pew Center on the States, said the 50 states spent more than $49 billion on corrections last year, up from less than $11 billion 20 years earlier. Last Sunday, Barack Obama gave a speech to a group of Jewish leaders in Cleveland, rejected the manipulative claim that one must “adopt an unwavering pro-Likud approach” or else be deemed “soft or anti-Israel,” and then (delicately) made this critical point regarding the range of acceptable debate in the U.S. with regard to Israel:
There was a very honest, thoughtful debate taking place inside Israel. All of you, I’m sure, have experienced this when you travel there. Understandably, because of the pressure that Israel is under, I think the U.S. pro-Israel community is sometimes a little more protective or concerned about opening up that conversation. But all I’m saying though is that actually ultimately should be our goal, to have that same clear-eyed view about how we approach these issues.
On virtually every issue concerning Israel, views that are held by substantial minorities or even majorities of Israelis themselves are deemed prohibited in the U.S., ones that inevitably subject the advocate to accusations of animus towards Israel or even anti-Semitism. There are very few issues in mainstream American political discourse with a narrower range of mandated orthodoxies than those which relate to Israel. Read more »
LONDON – MI6 agents have monitored secret meetings between top Serbian officials and Russian President Vladimir Putin’s anointed successor, Dmitry Medvedev, to discuss the installation of Russian nuclear missiles to contribute to what he told a Moscow election rally this weekend would “help to ensure Serbian security.”
The president-in-waiting – no one seriously believes any other candidate will win this coming Sunday’s election – also will ensure that President Vladimir Putin will become the nation’s prime minister, effectively remaining the real power behind Medvedev after stepping down from the presidency. As I sit hear typing, I hear the family of Jesse Davis crying in court about the loss of their daughter. Jesse was murdered by black cop Bobby Cutts. Officer Cutts admitted to killing Jesse and her 9-month-old fetus last June. Officer Cutts was married at the time and already had another child with Jesse. Although Cutts may have been able to look civilized in his role as a cop, his testimony revealed that in private he was your typical ghetto nigger. He was yelling at Jesse when she was 9 months pregnant to hurry up and do things instead of helping her out. He showed how he struck Jesse, even showing a firm grip as he demonstrated to the jury.
What kind of family allows their daughter/sister to be involved with a black, married man and have children from him repeatedly? Then they act as though it is so horrible that he killed their daughter/sister and discarded her like a piece of garbage. If you allowed your kid to be a liontamer would it be shocking if he or she was bitten or mauled? Granted not every black male has killed his white girlfriend yet, but it is a relatively common occurrence. Don’t pity the Davis family, learn from them. Read more »
Jonathan McCullum was in perfect health at 155 pounds when he left last summer to spend the school year as an exchange student in Egypt.
But when he returned home to Maine just four months later, the 5-foot-9 teenager weighed a mere 97 pounds and was so weak that he struggled to carry his baggage or climb a flight of stairs. Doctors said he was at risk for a heart attack.
McCullum says he was denied sufficient food while staying with a family of Coptic Christians, who fast for more than 200 days a year, a regimen unmatched by other Christians. Read more »
CANTON, Ohio - A jury on Wednesday recommended that a former police officer convicted of killing his pregnant girlfriend and their unborn daughter be sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 30 years.
On Monday, a sobbing Bobby Cutts Jr. had asked the jury to spare his life. He said he took responsibility for the deaths of 26-year-old Jessie Davis and the couple’s unborn daughter last June.
Assistant Stark County prosecutor Dennis Barr told jurors Tuesday that the state had met its burden to prove that Cutts deserves to die.
TWINS Keyontyli and Taleon Goffney have been arrested for allegedly breaking into area businesses by cutting rooftop holes to gain entry. Turns out, they were also just as skilled at breaking into their second, more respectable careers - as hardcore gay-porn stars.

They were charged with breaking into Moon’s Beauty Shop at 9th and Washington streets in South Philadelphia and the adjoining Wings and More, using only a handsaw and ax to get in through the roofs of the establishments. Notice that a Jewish supremacist is on newspaper staff. That would explain why this incident is big news.
The now familiar refrain — Yale College Dean Peter Salovey condemning an act of hate speech on campus — hit students’ and masters’ inboxes at exactly 4:00 Monday afternoon. By then, many of those same inboxes had already received the images, forwarded dozens of times throughout the weekend: a swastika and the symbol of the Nazi terror squad, the SS, shaped from snow on two Old Campus trees. In Africa last week, President Bush deplored the genocide in Rwanda in the 1990s, defended his refusal to send U.S. troops to Darfur and decried the ethnic slaughter in Kenya.
Following a fraudulent election, the Kikyu, the dominant tribe in Kenya, have been subjected to merciless assault. People are separating from one another and butchering one another along lines of blood and soil.
According to a compelling lead article in the new Foreign Affairs, “Us and Them: The Enduring Power of Ethnic Nationalism,” we may be witnessing in the Third World a re-enactment of the ethnic wars that tore Europe to pieces in the 20th century. Read more »

Big Brother. McCarthyism. The patience of Job.Don’t count on your typical teenager to nod knowingly the next time you drop a reference to any of these. A study out today finds that about half of 17-year-olds can’t identify the books or historical events associated with them.
Twenty-five years after the federal report A Nation at Risk challenged U.S. public schools to raise the quality of education, the study finds high schoolers still lack important historical and cultural underpinnings of “a complete education.” And, its authors fear, the nation’s current focus on improving basic reading and math skills in elementary school might only make matters worse, giving short shrift to the humanities ? even if children can read and do math. The list of legal problems for the far-right party NPD just keeps getting longer. Next week, party chairman Udo Voigt will face charges for racist propaganda he distributed during the 2006 World Cup in Germany — aimed at one of Germany’s own players.
By all accounts, the 2006 World Cup soccer championships in Germany were a rousing success. Millions from around the world got to know the country as a fun place to party rather than the dull, orderly place of cliché. This week, though, it is becoming clear that the event’s glow didn’t rub off on everyone. Indeed, the neo-Nazi National Democratic Party (NPD) is landing in court as a result.
According to a report in the Berlin daily Tagesspiegel, Udo Voigt, head the NPD, and two further senior party members — press spokesman Klaus Beier and board member Frank Schwerdt — are to be charged next week by Berlin’s public prosecutor for incitement and defamation, stemming from World Cup propaganda distributed by the party. When it comes to historical drama, there are few eras which can pull the crowds like the Third Reich. On Sunday, Feb. 24, such a movie won an Oscar for best foreign-language film.
Germany’s Nazi past has been a recurrent theme in films made in the country in recent years. From “Downfall,” which controversially portrayed the human side of Hitler, to a recent irreverent comedy about the Nazi dictator called “Mein Führer: The Truly Truest Truth About Adolf Hitler,” German films have been breaking new ground by using humor and irony to tackle issues still sensitive in the country.
The latest film, ”The Counterfeiters,”sheds light on a little-known chapter of Nazi history. It tells the spectacular tale of the largest forgery operation of all time, conducted from within the squalor of one of Hitler’s concentration camps.
