AVON, Colorado — An illegal immigrant hit a fence outside a mobile home, passed out and urinated in his pants during a sobriety test, according to an Avon Police Department report.

The man, 43, of Mexico, crashed a Ford Explorer into a fence, and a witness said he was unconscious when that witness found him May 11.

The man, who smelled like alcohol, had been driving illegally after having had two previous alcohol offenses. He urinated in his pants after he agreed to do a sobriety test, which he failed.

His blood alcohol content was more than three times above the legal limit for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested, and his charges included driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of a crash. Read more »

On the 6oth anniversary of the murderous and terroristic creation of the Israeli State it is interesting to learn of the private sentiments of the U.S. President who recognized Israel and thus facilitated it’s brutal cruelty and mistreatment of the Palestinians.  A recently discovered diary of President Harry S. Truman indicates that the former president may have had a strongly negative opinion of Jews. In the diary, which includes 42 entries written in 1947, Truman recounts a conversation he had with Henry Morgenthau, the Secretary of the Treasury, who had phoned to discuss the fate of Jewish refugees. In criticizing the approach of Morgenthau, who was Jewish, Truman wrote in a July 21 passage,“The Jews, I find are very, very selfish. They care not how many Estonians, Latvians, Finns, Poles, Yugoslavs or Greeks get murdered or mistreated as D[isplaced] P[ersons] as long as the Jews get special treatment. Yet when they have power, physical, financial or political neither Hitler nor Stalin has anything on them for cruelty or mistreatment to the under dog.” Read more »

Hillary Rodham Clinton is right. She has the broader and whiter political coalition, so she should, by all rights, be the Democratic presidential nominee.

After all, in other realms of the political process, we routinely refer to “black districts” or “Latino districts” and speak of the necessity of those jurisdictions to be represented by black or Latino elected officials. Well, then, because the American population is 66% white, maybe the United States is a de facto white district that should be represented accordingly.

Don’t scoff at the idea. Ethnic and racial self-determination have been underlying factors in the formation of modern nations. Israel is one example, along with anti-colonial revolutions and states in the Third World. The principle of ethnic self-determination made its way into the United Nations Charter, and it lurks in contemporary domestic discussions about the political and cultural rights of every kind of minority. AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - A Dutch political cartoonist is facing possible hate crimes charges.

The cartoonist, who works under the pseudonym Gregorius Nekschot, was arrested Tuesday and held overnight before being released.
Officials say a criminal investigation is continuing into whether Nekschot’s work targets people because of their race or religion.
Nekschot is known primarily for cartoons mocking Muslims and leftists.
However, spokeswoman for his publisher describes him as a satirist who targets “any strong ideology.”
Nekschot publishes primarily on several websites, including his own. But has also been featured on the Web site of Theo van Gogh, the filmmaker who was murdered by a Muslim radical in November 2004.
The cartoonist also works for HP/De Tijd, a major Dutch language weekly news magazine, and he has published two books.
One recent cartoon on his website caricatured a Christian fundamentalist and Muslim fundamentalist as zombies who met at an anti-gay rally and now wished to marry. Read more »

It’s supposed to be a family event, a celebration of African heritage. But shots rang out Sunday at the Annie Malone May Day Parade. A juvenile is in police custody, accused of firing a gun into the crowd.

“I tried to get out of the line of fire because I knew what was going to happen,” said witness, Ralph Jones.

“That put everything in a panic, everybody is running and falling all over people,”

New York Police were investigating an assault on a Chasidic teenager in Crown Heights as a possible hate crime.

The police on Saturday still had not determined whether the attack on Alon Sherman, 16, would be classified as a hate crime. His assault led to demonstrations by the area’s large Chasidic community demanding the case be so classified.

Sherman reportedly was beaten after midnight Thursday as he rode his bicycle to the store in the Brooklyn neighborhood to buy formula for his brother. His bike, cell phone and watch were stolen.

PHILADELPHIA — Four officers will be fired and four others disciplined for their roles in the beating of three shooting suspects, an encounter that was caught on videotape and took place two days after an officer was fatally shot.

The police department made the disciplinary decisions after reviewing frames from enhanced tape of a video shot by a television news helicopter on May 5, Commissioner Charles Ramsey said Monday.

A total of 19 officers — 18 city police and one transit officer — were involved in the apprehension of the three suspects. Read more »

The Philadelphia Human Relations Commission is looking into race-baiting posters that have surfaced in the wake of the murder of Sgt. Stephen Liczbinski. But the focus is less on the posters than those who might be affected by them.

The posters from the group that calls itself “Keystone State Skinheads” show pictures of white police officers killed in the line of duty and the black suspects in each case. The wording blames what it calls “dangerous minorities.”

Paris — There are still nearly seven weeks before its inauguration, but already the new United States Embassy in Berlin is being savaged as an architectural disaster. A building intended to symbolize American might and values in the centre of Europe is being likened to a bunker or a fortress with about as much charm as a shopping mall.

Two boys have been charged in France for the rape of a 10-year-old girl that they recorded on mobile phone video and showed to friends at their Paris area school, a judicial source said.

The rape occurred after one of the boys, aged 11, had watched a pornographic film with his 12-year-old friend and his sister, and decided to reproduce scenes from the movies, the source said.

The boys from the Montfort-l’Amaury school in Versailles, outside Paris, filmed the rape and showed the footage to about 100 fellow students over a week.

The duo have been detained and are due to undergo psychological testing.

Under French law, the two cannot be sentenced to a jail term as they are under 13, but they may be ordered to do community work or face some other penalty. SOURCE>>>
