‘Why don’t they arrest her?’ Immigration officials talk about illegal immigrants in sanctuary

It’s a quandary for authorities. Illegal immigrants inform U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and then openly defy deportation orders by taking sanctuary in churches.

They live and speak out at places of worship, which generally remain unlocked at day and unguarded at night.

So why don’t ICE agents go into churches to make arrests? Especially when agents have arrested thousands in raids on factories, restaurants, malls, farms and meat packing plants. Continued>>>

NJ EMS workers fired over alleged racist hazing

ford_e350_ambulance2.jpgNEWARK, N.J.—Three EMS workers have been fired by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey over an alleged racist hazing incident.

The university’s president said Friday that the three were terminated after cell phone camera images surfaced of paramedic trainees at University Hospital in Newark garbed in white sheets resembling Ku Klux Klan robes.”UMDNJ has never and will never tolerate attitudes and behaviors that discriminate against any individual or group,” university President William F. Owen Jr. said in a written statement. “The actions taken by the individuals in this instance are appalling.” Continued>>>

Israeli PM Olmert charged in “holocaust” fraud

buddies76543.jpgIsrael’s prime minister scammed his country’s revered Holocaust memorial, a charity for disabled children and other groups out of $100,000 in a brazen double-billing scheme. Investigators said yesterday. They said Ehud Olmert personally ran the fraud and used the money to finance lavish family trips abroad. One law-enforcement official said Olmert would have been arrested already if he weren’t prime minister. The dramatic new charges sharply expanded the three-month probe and greatly increase the likelihood that Olmert will be indicted and forced from office. SOURCE>>>>
