Richard Fuld punched in face in Lehman Brothers gym

Mr Fuld, who has been testifying on the financial crisis before the US House Oversight Committee, was attacked on a Sunday shortly after it was announced that the banking giant was bankrupt.
Following rumours that the incident had occurred, Vicki Ward, a US journalist, said “two very senior sources – one incredibly senior source” had confirmed it to her. “He went to the gym after … Lehman was announced as going under,” she told CNBC. “He was on a treadmill with a heart monitor on. Someone was in the corner, pumping iron and he walked over and he knocked him out cold.
“And frankly after having watched [Mr Fuld's testimony to the committee], I’d have done the same too.”

Wow, one of the Masters of the Universe has to endure real life. I’m sure he’ll write a book and compare the incident to the Holocaust. Why are “they” always persecuted for no reason at all? (Uh oh, more groundless antisemitic internet chatter.)

Fuld is a jerk, but I also laugh at the corporate jerk who punched him. I bet he had a lot of money in Lehman stock. Hahaha.
I want to be very clear. I take full responsibility for the decisions that I made and for the actions that I took based on the information that we had at the time. I knew the company was fixing to collapse, so i milked it for all i could get out of it. Over the past 8 yrs, the bush and cheney split 180 million, and i got 300 million because i thought of it. I got that job as i was told and i did what i was told, now if you will excuse me i am going to drop off my resume with Senator Obama. You goys is just jealous, that i can get bonuses for poor work, milk a company for all it is worth, and still be good enough to hire again, so we can get the next unsuspecting company.

Maybe this will start a trend of cold cocking all these parasites that milk the system. He should consider himself lucky because back in the day he would have been strung up from the highest tree. I agree it was probably a fellow “Chosen One” that did this.
