I can see the loaded poll question now “Would you rather have illegal aliens pay taxes or be deported because they may take your job?” Talk about a baited question that shows no truth. They could have also asked “Are you more concerned that illegal aliens pay taxes or that they should be deported because an illegal alien may break into your home and use a plastic tube to drain all your blood so that it may be used in a witchcraft ritual?” Who the hell would pick the later choice? A very small percentage
Americans are “not concerned” that they may lose jobs to illegal aliens in a tight job market, according to speakers at a panel discussion conducted Thursday in Washington, D.C., by the National Council of La Raza.
Simon Rosenberg, president and CEO of NDN – formerly the New Democrat Network — said that Republicans
are now “paying a steep price for demonizing Hispanics” in their “anti-immigration rhetoric” – rhetoric that he said created the “fear of losing jobs to undocumented immigrants of Americans.”
Research conducted for La Raza … indicates that Americans are “more concerned” with undocumented immigrants “being able to pay their fair share of taxes,” Rosenberg said, more

The problem, as I see it, is that americans are carefully guided away from any between-election participation.
We have already seen schoolchildren intimidated. The process begins early.
In the 1950’s we had to subscribe to something called “current events” and to comment on ( ha ha ) current events.
I became the person they tried NOT to create. I took a fierce joy in writing letters for the NRA, as it once was. Mentally I presented my elementary school teachers. Writing letters and contributing was a way to give them the “italian salute”. I take great joy in the fact that they are probably dead or senile by now.
Ms Crossan, you have gotten wise to their tricks. Manipulation-of-question and “pollster intimidation” are favorites.
“Exit polls” are a nice way to voluntarily surrender the secret ballot.
Nifty, eh?
My father was a “rule book johnny” who swallowed the myth. I got that morning, noon and night.
I remember a line in “The Sixth Sense” that goes: “If I draw smiley faces, parents don’t get called”. Kids are smarter than adults think.
Thank you so much for the compliment. I apprecaite it!
I always look forward to reading yours and others insight and your very inspiring words!
I thank you all for that and the levels of new inspiration it gives, not only to me but others as well I hope!
Ms Crossan, I thank you for the complements.
My belief is that the citizen needs to be prepared for their psychological assault.
This battle consists of the cumulative effect of a number of tricks and responses. Even such humble things as turning off the TV set and voting via absentee ballot do add up: A letter here, a letter there.
It’’s my belief that the US will break up. The old names will remain. But good state politics can derail the feds. Almost imperceptively states will acquire the rights and duties of NATIONS. The old Roman Empire didn”t collapse in a binary flip-flop, it petered out gradually.
Regardless of his liberal opinions, Kevin Costner gave us a very accurate portrayal of how it will be in the movie: “The Postman”.
Government is like silly putty. Silly putty will resist sharp blows ( you can hammer nails with silly putty ) but will yield readily to slow steady pressure.
I don’t know if I will live to see “Checkpoint Yankee”, between the Massachusetts-New Hampshire border. I know something like that will be coming.
The consumer, Johnny Six-Pack, instinctively knows that something’s very wrong and he’s hanging on to cash.
Add to this brew the growing minority of those on the internet. Obama’s citizenship just ain”t going away. I think Kenya is making a shrine of his birthplace, or so I heard. What a news opportunity.
If you are not concerned with an all out INVASION of this once Great Nation, you are part of the problem and dealt with.
Educate yourselves, help educate others!
