I know that many here are Dog Lovers, Owners, Breeders and have inquired about a which Dogs are on the Restricted/Banned list, and this was what I could find so far.
The following list contains dog breeds, in alphabetical order, that are either banned from ownership, or restricted so as to make ownership more difficult than owning other breeds, in legislation either passed, proposed, or tabled in venues throughout the United States of America. The breeds are listed by name exactly as they appear in legislation. Redundancy, or misnaming is due to the wording of codes, and/or ordinances. Stupid law.
The problems are (a) failure to understand the dog or (b) endowing the dog with human characteristics.
A better law would have a class in dog ownership.
They banned the golden retriever? I had one when I was a kid and it was less scary than my girls two 5lb maltipoos.
I know I don’t understand why these dogs were banned, especially the Golden Retriever. Most of the Dogs are Working Dogs that herd animals and or guard dogs…they have some truly beautiful dogs listed on here, I’ve never seen before up until researching for this post.
This all stems from dog owner dereliction.
Pretty dogs! Nice dogs! Yes! No argument.
But the dog cannot discriminate between the mailman, the meter reader, the oil delivery guy, a pedestrian or a child.
How many times do I have to mention this?
There’s a category of people who have implicit consent to enter onto one’s property.
That’s the cause of the problem. Owner dereliction and negligence. Banning breeds of dogs is stupidity incarnate.
A simple class on the subject would cure the problem. Can’t buy the dog until you’ve attended the class.
Another thing they (not all) seem to be American And European dogs. Have they declared war on our animals too. They will play with hell if they try to take my dogs.

google search pat patrick.they killed this guys 173 pit bulls that he spent 30 years breeding.he never was a dog fighter and was found innocent of all charges.but the state has already destroyed his lifes work.killing all puppies,males,and female dogs.welcome the the land of the free?welcome to insanity.
Muds of all breeds should be banned form Amerika. Canines–let em’ stay.
One should be smarter than a dog to own one.
