90 ARRESTED IN COUNTER-JIHAD DEMONSTRATION

Ninety people were arrested following clashes between right-wing protestors and anti-fascist campaigners in Birmingham on Saturday.

A group called the English Defence League, which said it was protesting against Islamic extremism, was met with a counter demonstration.

Police said rival gangs had hurled abuse and missiles at each other near the city’s main shopping areas.

The arrested are aged between 16 and 39 and offences include criminal damage.  People were also arrested for violent disorder and one for possessing an offensive weapon. More

    Nice exercise in futility.

    Now if our people would go home, contribute to the BNP, write letters and the like, we’d really get somwhere.
