Two men were out of the hospital Tuesday after being stabbed Monday night at The Ritz-Carlton in Manalapan. The two had argued during a talk at the Ritz by Holocaust denier David Irving.
Manalapan Police Chief Clay Walker said Christopher Nachtman, 31, and John Kopko, 43, both sustained stab wounds, were taken to local hospitals and released.
Kopko, who was wounded more severely, was transported by TraumaHawk to Delray Medical Center, said Dan Koenig, a police department spokesman. Nachtman, who had a small cut, was taken to JFK Medical Center in Atlantis by Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue.
The dustup erupted in a small conference room where the two men were among 35 invited guests of Focal Point Publications, which was hosting the group to participate in a “historical discussion about World War II,” Walker said. There were no protesters inside or outside the event, he said.
The Web site for Focal Point Publications contains appearances, books and information about Irving.
“One person said something to upset the other” within the meeting, an argument ensued and “they took it outside,” where one man jumped the other, Walker said. During the fight, one of the men pulled a knife, he said.
“This is still in the investigation stage,” Koenig said. “We’re still sorting out who did what.”
“We had no knowledge that this guy who spoke was coming to our hotel,” said Brad Cance, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton. “We at The Ritz-Carlton do not condone that behavior.”
In 1992, Kopko, a self-proclaimed white supremacist, disrupted a county Library Advisory Board meeting, according to news reports at the time. Kopko and another neo-Nazi executed the Nazi salute followed by “Sieg Heil,” as they protested the library’s rejection of two neo-Nazi publications.More

I guess they found the snitch or something
Manalapan is in the heart of yidville. West Palm Beach is right there. I wouldn’t be suprised if nachtman was a yid.
The problem with David Irving is that he has this obsession with going “underground.” He “screens” attendees at his book-selling gigs, tries to keep the locale a secret and refuses to even provide minimal security. Understandable, considering that, as he says, he has been “all banged up” by authorities and counter-demonstrators, over the years, and professes that he “cannot afford” security.
Except, when people are stabbed at his “secret” event and there are injuries and damages, he is likely to be sued. The question will be, “If he vetted his attendees, why did he fail to weed out the perps?”
He will probably lose, in court, as he has before. He doesn’t like lawyers and has served, unsuccessfully, as his own lawyer. Nevertheless, the expense, agony and shoddy example he generates reinforces the stereotype that he is disorganized, disoriented and a bit looney.
Irving needs to clean up his act, get away from the “underground” types and mind-set and get with people who can provide him the safe and sane platform he can’t get abroad. He could be a class act, but keeps shooting himself in the foot.
Query….How do you propose that he does that? How can he emerge into the public without being trampled by protestors and hassled by the authorities and zionists?
I don’t know him as well as you seem to, but he seems to be a an academic who wants a forum for the truth without the circus atmosphere that would follow if he was more public. Ask David Duke how much he enjoyed his days in the public eye. The only way he could have peace and speak freely is to move to Russia.
Very simply, Irving needs more supporters. It’s pathetic that only 35 people would come to hear him speak and thereby show their support. Any black radical who spews hatred towards whites can fill a college auditorium and be paid with our tax dollars, but Irving has to cover all of his costs by selling a few books. On top of that, his own supporters get into knife fights and other supposed sympathizers, like you, choose to bash him here.
I know that Potok would love to instill some disunity and infighting among the few people that are willing to stand with Irving on the truth.
Smokey: Irving might want to contact some who have been successful, especially in the courts. Richard Barrett and the Nationalist Movement is probably top-ranked. Rife Kimler and the White Camilias have had some successes. Daniel Johnson and the Migrationist Movement have had a good run. These men are all lawyers and social-activists, not the amateurs and losers that Irving is prone to team up with. I disagree that Irving merely “needs more supporters,” as much as he needs “quality leadership.”
Who really wants to get “all banged up” (even stabbed, no less) for slipping into some secret hotel rendezvous to hear him tell how he’s got “all banged up”? As headstrong as he is, he will probably keep going his same old way, alas, winding up like Chester Doles, Kevin Strom, David Duke, Shaun Walker ad nauseum.
But, hopefully not.
David Irving would love to be able to advertise his talks and have them open to the public. Unfortunately, this country is filled with people who don’t believe in freedom of speech and have no problem using intimidation and violence to disrupt his events and discourage consenting adults from attending them. I’m sure none of his critics have ever read one of his books or attended one of his lectures themselves. They just read Wikipedia and think that makes them informed enough to protest. And if you don’t like what Mr Irving has to say, you don’t have to go and listen to it. But you don’t have the right to disrupt his events or prevent those of us who want to hear him from doing so.
And who brings a knife to a talk?
Obviously someone who had plans.
