Islamic mosque built at 9/11 Ground Zero
A new Islamic mosque will open its doors just steps from Ground Zero where Muslim terrorists murdered 2,751 people in the name of Allah on Sept. 11, 2001 – and its leading imam, who conducts sensitivity training sessions for the FBI, has reportedly blamed Christians for starting mass attacks on civilians.
The five-story building at Park Place, just two blocks north of the former World Trade Center site, was the site of a Burlington Coat Factory. But a plane’s landing-gear assembly crashed through the roof on the day 19 Muslim terrorists hijacked the airliners and flew them into the Twin Towers in 2001.Now Muslim worshippers currently occupy the building, and they plan to turn it into a major Islamic cultural center.
“The men and women stand up, raise their hands on either side of their head, murmur ‘Allahu akhbar,’ bow and kneel again,” reports Spiegel Online.
The building – vacant since that fateful day when time stood still as millions of Americans grieved the loss of loved ones, friends, family members, co-workers and strangers – was purchased in July by real-estate company Soho Properties, a business run by Muslims. Rauf was an investor in that transaction.
“Only in New York City is this possible,” Daisy Khan, executive director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement, or ASMA, told the magazine. Khan is the wife of Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, founder of ASMA.
The move is supported by the city. The mayor’s director of the Office of Immigrant Affairs, Fatima Shama, told the Times, “We as New York Muslims have as much of a commitment to rebuilding New York as anybody.”
According to the report, Rauf said there would be little progress until the U.S. acknowledged backing dictators and the U.S. president gave an “America Culpa” speech to the Muslim world. On June 4, 2009, President Obama gave a speech to the Muslim world from Cairo, in which he stated:
I have come here to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world; one based upon mutual interest and mutual respect; and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles – principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings. … So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.
Rauf praised Obama for “embracing Islam in the peacemaking process” in his speech to the Muslim world.More from Source

Before I left NYC I saw many “Holes in the Ground”. The New York City tree that one sees everywhere is, maybe, a kind of acacia or sumac. Due to the acid sewer-gas-saturated Manhattan soil that damn shit-tree grew like a rocket.
Be nice to see a documentary on the vegetation growing in New York City ruins like the South Bronx — PROVIDED that the documentary people don’t have their cameras robbed and beaten half to death.

I am not that old so I don’t know how it was “back in the day”
but I am pretty sure if that crap had happened in our fathers time the would have rounded all of them up and hanged them in public.
Jewish leaders in Poland screamed up and down when a church was going to be built near the ‘sacred ground’ of Auschwitz and it was squashed yet these Muslim scum are allowed to built a ‘cultural’ center/ Mosque near ground zero and the world yawns.
The “World Trade Center” was a scam from start. It never fully rented and competed with taxpaying renters, while, it, iself, was tax-exempt. I remember the colorful small businesses destroyed by the “World Trade Center”.
We’re better off without it. I was a thousand miles away when I heard of the destruction. I had the opportunity to bail out of a dying New York City and I took it.
I don’t miss it at all.
One of the things the reader might not know about the “World Trade Center” is that it was built with total disregard for New York’s antiquated sewer system.
Had it been fully rented — which it never was — the city would have had to rebuid the sewer system to accomodate it — at taxpayer’s expense. Either that or dump raw sewerage into the Hudson River.
So, what’s the big boo-hoo about the “World Trade Center” ? Why all the tears? It was a monument to misgovernment by oligarchs and insiders.
For a variety of reasons New York is dying. Its got mass-transit, yes, if you can survive the journey to and from work.
The “World Trade Center” was, literally, a “piece of shit” or, more accurately a monstrous human waste generator.
Heh, don’t get me wrong, i don’t miss crap about that place, it was a symbol for the destruction of the honest working man,
But I am still confused that some lunatic paramilitary groups or even just enraged vigilantes didn’t start dragging all the arabs out of their cabs and giving them justice.
I look at the twin towers like Sodom and Gemhorra, the were two twin symbols of everything evil and they were destroyed by fire from the sky.
I just really don’t like dune coon’s and wish I few of them had taken a beating, even if they didn’t do it, it would make up for all the times I had to smell some nasty arab in a cross city cab ride.
