Transgender Lobby Day at Mass. State House

They were at the State House on Thursday afternoon, January 21, for a “Transgender Lobby Day”, an hour-long series of speeches at Nurses’ Hall in the State House followed by individual lobbying. Their goal is passage of the radical Transgender Rights and Hate Crimes Bill (H1728), that would force blanket normalization of cross-dressing and transgender behaviors throughout society and impose fines and even jail terms for those who publicly voice dissent.

Chairman of Judiciary Committee calls opponents of transgender bill “ignorant” — says “Get over it” if transgenderism makes them uncomfortable!
Sen. Cynthia Creem (D-Newton), Senate Chairman of the Judiciary Committee of the Massachusetts Legislature, made her contempt and disdain for citizens with traditional values very clear
Sen. Creem told the gathering:
“There are many opponents who feel it’s controversial and who misunderstood the bill or are ignorant of the issues and don’t want to hear the truth because that’s always a fact: it’s better not to hear the truth. They’re just uncomfortable. Get over it! . . . We know that hatred can come from misunderstanding and ignorance.”

Cross-dressers, anger, hostility all around

The most bizarre aspect of the event was the convergence of cross-dressers and trans-sexuals, many of them large men dressed as women — several with hormone-induced female-like breasts — who were everywhere. Equally disturbing were the number of women dressed as men who appeared to have had their breasts surgically removed with facial hair hormonally induced.
One could not help feel that that these people are tragic figures, deeply hurting inside, and that they really need psychological help rather than an onerous law that only reinforces their misery and the overall devolution of society. In fact, the mental health profession considers “gender identity disorder” to be something that needs to be treated, not reinforced — and certainly not forced on society by law.

The transgendered will divide into two groups:

Yes, and the TREATMENT method prescribed by the APA are hormones and surgery, not the writer’s imagined understanding of what medical treatment entails. Not only is this article misleading and full of crock, the writer displays the research skill of a teenager by taking something and twisting it to have the exact opposite meaning. Look up Gender Identity Disorder please. A google search will likely do, but if not, try almost any online encyclopedia.
Ms Crossan is laboring under a shocking bias or is simply ignorant of the issue. Based on the inflammatory and dehumanizing rhetoric she uses, I am unfortunately inclined to believe the former. I would challenge her on a number of the ill informed points she made but will point out just one.
I am struck by her mention of “women — several with hormone-induced female-like breasts” and wonder where she thinks her breasts came from. And, guess what? ALL men get beards from hormones, not just transsexual men.
Apparently she has not applied a great deal a lot of thought about what she is writing, using (most likely, from the way it reads) a criterion of shock value and sensationalism promoted in service of defending prejudice and harmful discrimination of a small minority whose only “crime” is to seek the only medically accepted treatment for gender identity conditions, namely a gender transition.
This is “journalism” at its worst – propaganda towards the marginalization of a group of people based on a medical condition they have been born with. I pray Ms Crossan will reflect on her shameful tactics, and perhaps study the issue a bit more before deciding once again to dishonestly attack a vulnerable group for who they are.
Yes, it’s funny how people make a lot about it being classed as a “mental illness” without mentioning that it’s the only “mental illness” whose treatment involves surgery.
They ignore – or just don’t know – about the controversy in the American Psychiatric Association about whether it belongs in the diagnostic manual or not, and that the sole argument for keeping it there is so that medics have a diagnostic code to use. That it’s removal might result in necessary surgery and hormonal treatment being denied.

Is it that they don’t know that there’s no psychological therapy for it – other than to help cope with it, just as psychotherapy might help amputees cope with their loss before being fitted with prostheses? Or is it that they know, but as that collides with their ideology, they prefer to ignore facts?

The MSM is shameful for not showing or making this forefront to the People who the Government is siding with and I know taking large large contributions from. You are apparently the one who is ignorant to open your eyes or the link at the end of the story to see I didn’t write this and the MSM is trying to hide this Lost episode of the Maury Povich/Geraldo episode and as far as my BREASTS they are the ones I was born with they developed naturally no implants or anything because I was born 100% natural FEMALE with get this female hormones that my body has naturally<<<<never injected or given by a doctor and I have had no desire EVER aside from dressing up on Halloween when I was a little kid to ever be anything but what I was born. A Proud White girl, female, woman and that's what I intend on remaining. I think it is only fair for me and people such as myself to inform the unaware of another thing that the Government is doing and what they/we are made to pay for. It’s not right to arrogantly tell them to “Get Over it” though, any more than it is to tell them to “Get Over” the fact that slavery is now illegal, and the laws against beating up Jews and Catholics are now enforced in the main.

I see, that Zoe is at it again trying to proclaim that Intersex people are transsexual. Zoe, you need to quit combining the 2 and you really need to get a Life. Zoe, has nothing to claim and all Zoe dose is cut and paste fact. Zoe is not an Intersex person and Zoe is a Transsexual who is also a Registered sex offender in Australia. Zoe is also a Man by the Name of Alan Brain and has a UK Male Birth Certificate to boot.
