They’re finally starting to get it! At least some of them. A bill by California Representatives Howard P. “Buck” McKeon, R-Santa Clarita and Rep. Gary Miller, R-Brea aims to prohibit anchor babies from being given US citizenship unless at least one parent is a legal citizen. It’s about damn time! This is a bill with legs, believe me!

The 14th Amendment grants legal citizenship to anyone born on US soil. The law was written in 1868! How has the world changed since then? Most illegal aliens are eager to squirt out as many anchor babies on US soil for one reason. Welfare! Once their nino is a citizen, they become eligible for all manner of public assistance courtesy of Mr. and Mrs. John Screwed Taxpayer! Predictably, DemonRats are already screaming:

“This bill is unconstitutional,” said Rep. Joe Baca, D-San Bernardino. “It would change one of the most basic principles that our nation was founded on: If you were born in the United States, you’re an American.”

Tu madre, Baca! The law was never written to give billions of dollars in welfare to illegals. They didn’t even have welfare in the 1800’s. People worked for a living!

AWD thinks this bill has about as much chance of being brought to a vote as Michael Moore going to a salad bar (I’ve used way too many Michael Moore metaphors lately). But hopefully with Republicans controlling Congress after November, we can elect enough true American patriots who will do the right thing for America!

Finally! Can they also terminate the citizenship of anyone born to non-citizens before this bill goes into effect? But at last they are getting their heads out of their asses. I really doubt this will pass, but we can hope, cross our fingers, and if you’re religious, pray.

    Anchor babies?? Bullshit!
Why the hell do illegal immigrants have the right to birth their polywogs in my country? These fucking parasites aren’t even supposed to be here, they are in and of themselves an enormous drain on our economy no matter what their bullshit “mecha” civil rights groups say! These piles shouldn’t even be afforded civil rights in the US, they are not citizens. They immigrated to our country without permission, they did not go through the proper channels in regards to applying for and being awarded citizenship, they simply abbandoned their filthy, crumbling 3rd world countries and scurried over the border to find refuge in our great land.
Our nation is by and large the cleanest, healthiest, freest, most advanced and most well maintained in the world, a place where OUR citizens enjoy freedoms paid for in blood by the toll of more than 1.2 million Americans who gave their lives so that ‘WE THE PEOPLE’ can live free. Now we have these insidious bleeding heart, liberal “human rights” organizations giving away rights to illegals like it were candy from a pinata’s butthole, people who bring their filth and ass backward customs and behaviors here and who refuse, for the most part, to integrate and become Americans in accordance with our laws and customs.
So you all get to just sneak in here and fuck up our country, have babies and leach off of the American tax payer, and we just have to bend over and take it in the ass?? Give me a fucking break!
Anyone who lives in Cali can attest to the damage that illegal immigration has done to our state, from crime to drugs to filth or to us just simply being forced to tolerate being treated with disrespect and contempt as though we are the outsiders, White people are the minority here and the border brothers see us as intruders, as cannon fodder, we’re looked at with disdain as if we’re in THEIR homeland!
Most White people understand that their is a limit to how many kids one can have and still live a decent, at least somewhat comfortable lifestyle. We don’t over breed because children cost money, require attention and need structure and a positive influence so they can grow up to become productive, contributing members of society. Who wants to have a litter of kids one cannot educate, feed or clothe properly thus living poor and destitute for the rest if their lives, as well as dooming their offspring to that same fate? We don’t want to take money from the government, we don’t want to be leaches who suckle from the tit of hard working tax payers [again for the most part], we want to stand on our own two feet and WORK to provide for us and ours.

I don’t know if this bill will pass or hold up even if it does.

Our own ‘president’ is not native born and is ignoring the law to prove it.

i heard a good one the other day “undocumented democrats.” even these mexcrements know whose more likely to give them their daily bread. they’ll vote demy for the rest of there lives if they’re allowed to be citizens in the land of the free. guess they don’t understand that doesn’t mean land of the free-ride.

@jjjohnson, To them it is the land of the free ride. They come over here, have their babies, and get on welfare, then spend the rest of their lives living off of OUR money. Here’s an idea that might actually cost us less-let them have their children, then ship the parents back and make their children wards of the state. It will still cost the taxpayers money, but we will only be paying for the children, not their parents and will make some of them think twice before having their kids in this country, especially if it means they will be separated from them. Personally, I think if an immigrant, illegal or otherwise, show up to collect food stamps or welfare for a child they birthed in this country, we should deport the whole family back to wherever they came from because obviously they are not doing anything to help this country to improve. Also, anyone who is consistently unemployed and seeking government aid should be deported to another country. I’m not talking about the people who get laid off and get one to two months of aid while job searching or someone who is physically disabled or has a terminal illness which prohibits them from working, I means those who have been receiving welfare and food stamps for years and are physically able to hold a job, but are too lazy to get off their butts and do it. I am sorry this is kind of long, but I felt like venting a bit.

    YES. ’bout friggin’ time.

@Lizzy K..I couldn’t agree more! Our neighbors collect every kind of welfare possible and they’ve been living off of it for years! The husband would work a “job” for a few months and limit the amount of pay and hours just so he could still collect SSI and their other various kinds of welfare. People like that NEED to be deported! Then maybe the rest of the people like them will get the hint and change their ways and if not, then they can leave too!
