TYRONE, BLAIR COUNTY - According to a new srelease from the State Police, it all started back on Saturday.
That’s when police say Vincent Stone Junior E-mailed the Governor’s office. Stone lives in Tyrone, Blair County. Police say the 55 year old threatened Rendell. We still don’t know what the E-mail said. We’re also told the E-mail had racial slurs aimed at jewish people. Once Governor Rendell’s office got this E-mail, the Governor’s Protection Detail sent that E-mail to State Police in Hollidaysburg. They conducted their own investigation.
Stone was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon. That was done by State Police and members of the fugitive apprehension unit. Police say Stone is looking at some pretty serious charges. They include terroristic threats, harassment, and ethnic intimidation.
He’s behind bars on $100,000 bail. His first court date is set for December 16th
