“I think as a New Yorker, we’ve been attacked twice by al-Qaida itself,” said the mayor, who is Jewish. “We’ve seen enormous devastation and courage and after that you sort of feel you have a bond, if you will, for those who live in a dangerous world and subject to someone trying to kill them.”
“All Hamas has to do is stop sending rockets over to kill people and agree on the accords that were negotiated earlier and come to an agreement that is verifiable, durable and effective to stop people from being killed,” he added.

Israel Using Depleted Uranium Against Gaza Victims |

Medics have found traces of depleted uranium in victims of Israel’s brutal attack on Gaza, according to a Press TV report, meaning the ultimate death toll could be far higher as future generations are plagued by cancers and birth defects.
“Norwegian medics told Press TV correspondent Akram al-Sattari that some of the victims who have been wounded since Israel began its attacks on the Gaza Strip on December 27 have traces of depleted uranium in their bodies,” states the article.
Following the conclusion of the first Gulf War in 1991, in which depleted uranium was used by U.S. forces, cancers and birth defects in Iraq soared and many veterans organizations agree that the weapon was responsible for the emergence of Gulf War Syndrome that has plagued hundreds of thousands of Gulf War veterans.source

The USA is being infiltrated by illegals, sold to foreign powers and abandoned by its government. But are Americans enabling the dissolution of our economy and country as well by continuing to buy foreign goods?
America is literally being sold out from underneath Americans. According to the 2008 Economic Report of the President, “The United States is both the single leading recipient and leading source of foreign direct investment in the world. In 2006, total cumulative (foreign direct investment) in the United States was almost $1.8 trillion, 15 percent of the world total.” In 2006, foreign-owned assets in the U.S. totaled roughly $16 trillion dollars. Ammunition Accountability Legislation
Remember how Obama said that he wasn’t going to take your guns? Well, it seems that his allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo!
The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers.
Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded..
Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!
If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!Information

The United States late Saturday blocked approval of a U.N. Security Council statement calling for an immediate cease-fire between Israel and Gaza’s Hamas rulers, diplomats said.
The U.S., Israel’s closest ally, has designated Hamas a terrorist organization. U.S. deputy ambassador Alejandro Wolff said the United States saw no prospect of Hamas abiding by last week’s council call for an immediate end to the violence. Therefore, he said, a new statement “would not be adhered to and would have no underpinning for success, (and) would not do credit to the council.news source

Natural Gas Futures Rise in New York as U.S. Stocks Advance |

Natural gas rose in New York, buoyed by gains in U.S. stocks as investors speculated governments will step up efforts to revive the global economy, and as lower than normal temperatures were forecast along the East Coast.
The heating and industrial fuel increased as shares gained after General Motors Corp. received a cash infusion from the government. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported in its 6-10 day forecast yesterday that odds favor colder than normal weather in the eastern region.
“We are into a breakout for stocks. Natural gas has good fundamentals because of production destruction.”
Natural gas for February delivery rose 34 cents, or 6.2 percent, to settle at $5.971 per million British thermal units at 3:01 p.m. on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
U.S. stocks advanced on the first day of trading in 2009, following the biggest annual drop for the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index in 71 years, as rising fuel prices lifted energy shares. The S&P 500 rose 2.8 percent to 928.9 at 3:12 p.m. in New York.

If you thought Bernard Madoff’s $50 billion investment scheme was audacious, get ready for his alibi. Lawyers for the accused scammer are exploring an insanity defense, we hear.
The 70-year-old financier, now a prisoner of his East Side penthouse, wore a weird smile when he was photographed shortly after his Dec. 12 arrest.more
“He might try to argue that Madoff suffered from dementia or a bipolar disorder,” says the psychiatrist, who has served as an expert witness in high-profile criminal cases. “
He could argue that Madoff committed the fraud during manic, euphoric periods and that he never found the equilibrium to correct his crime. Or that he was so delusional that he convinced himself the investment returns were real. You might also plead that he was incapacitated by some character disorder, like a malignant narcissism stemming from an early-life trauma.

Seattle police shot and killed a University of Washington senior who was dressed in a World War II-era German uniform and who officers say was brandishing a long rifle with a bayonet early Thursday in his University District apartment.
The student, identified by friends as Miles Allen Murphy, was well-known on campus as a smart, eccentric history buff who loved to participate in WWII re-enactments and would even show up to class, at times, dressed in a historic uniform.
Murphy — a German cultural-studies major — had amassed a large collection of WWII memorabilia from the Internet, goodwill stores and from antique dealers.
“He was one of the most peaceful guys I have met. He was really just a nice guy,” Bray said. “I never heard him espousing any Nazi ideology; none of that interested him. He liked the physical stuff from WWII because he was such a history buff.”
Bray said Murphy sometimes would wear kilts or uniforms to class — including German and U.S. gear from WWII — mehr

A 6-year old East Texas girl falls on an electric fence and is killed by the unusually high amperage. Harrison County Sheriff’s investigators say the man who put up the fence could face criminal charges.
The day after Christmas, little Ceira Clark and her brothers were playing in the backyard.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department says the neighbor, “Marcos Gonzalez” could face criminal negligence or homicide charges. The case will go over to the D.A.’s office
Ceira’s mom says this should never have happened. She says her neighbor rigged the fence to run off a 20 amp breaker. The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department confirmed it was far too powerful.
“It wasn’t a typical electrical fence that would be powered down,” said Captain Marty Latham. ”It was running straight through a 110 outlet and there was a lot of amps running through it.” more

Happy New Year Everyone!
I know it’s pretty customary for Fire Works and Gun Fire to bring in the New Year with a BANG! Last night was no exception, I heard very few Fire Works but plenty of Gun Fire in and around my neighborhood.
That is a good thing or is it? I heard Shot Guns, Assault Riffles, Hand Guns. . . . I would say yes that is a Great thing but then again I don’t know with the amount of unfavorable charactors in and around my City. Then I got a phone call much after New Years Eve from my Father who is on vacation with some of his friends with the News that he had just been pick pocketed by a slippery sucker. My Father felt as this slimy thief was in the act of robbing him and my 60+ year old father wrestled andtackled him to the ground and thought he had him. He referred to him as slippery because the Thief got away, but shy of his Winter Coat and a Shoe. Although he made off with my fathers wallet, so my Father had to call and cancel all his credit cards, ID, then file a Police report. If this is any indication of the New Year all I have to say is be Prepared and Watch Out for Yourself and your loved ones.
Three shootings that resulted in officers opening fire late Wednesday and early Thursday remained under investigation.

California has launched a program for illegal aliens called Bank on California that would make the Matricula Consular acceptable at all banks and the program is being pushed with gusto by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. As many of you know banks across this country - Bank of America and Wells Fargo being the most notable - have been openly pushing credit cards and mortgages for illegal aliens for years. Giving loans to illegal aliens was one of the major causes of the sub-prime mortgage crisis and it has been conveniently ignored by traditional news outlets. This crisis ended up devastating millions of Americans by artificially driving up housing prices. And it devastated them more by having those same financial institutions beg and receive trillions of taxpayer dollars because these loans unsurprisingly defaulted.more

I know this story is an older story, but I wanted to bring it up because of an earlier story I had posted about a man charged for using a SuperSoaker against those who had Trespassed, Pranks, Vandalism on his private property.
I also know most will most likely say Mr. Davis deserves the maximum for this . . . .
In the document, Davis, 40, and his mother began feeling “very insecure and unsafe in our home” after, they contend, Worthington police stopped patrolling the neighboring Walnut Grove Cemetery. They felt the police presence had kept their home free from “miscreants, juvenile or adult.”
That change prompted Davis to buy a .22-caliber rifle and a 20-gauge shotgun in 1994, according to the document. He used the gun to scare off attempted burglars in the following years, he said. The family did not report the incidents to police because “our family has distrusted them for the past 27 years.”
Juveniles would continue to squeal tires, honk horns and yell insults at the Davises on weekend nights, the document states.
Worthington teens have called the Davis house, hidden in a tangle of trees, bushes and weeds, “haunted.” Others said the Davises were “crazy people” and their home the “spooky house.” sources

A retired engineer from New Jersey whose clandestine activities went undetected for more than two decades pleaded guilty yesterday to a criminal charge accusing him of serving as an unregistered agent for Israel.
Ben-Ami Kadish passed classified documents to an Israeli handler between about 1980 and 1985, when he worked at a U.S. Army research and engineering center at the Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, N.J., authorities say.
Kadish, 85, will face a maximum term of five years in prison when he is sentenced by Manhattan U.S. District Judge William H. Pauley III in February. The retiree acted out of a desire to help Israel, receiving only nominal gifts and family dinners in exchange for the 50 to 100 documents he shared, according to court papers filed by the government. more

The custom has led to the spread of trafficking, as well-to-do Africans accustomed to employing children immigrate to the U.S. Around one-third of the estimated 10,000 forced laborers in the U.S. are servants trapped behind the curtains of suburban homes, according to a study by the National Human Rights Center at the University of California at Berkeley and Free the Slaves, a nonprofit group. It’s not known how many are kids.
Shyima was 10 when a wealthy Egyptian couple brought her from a poor village in northern Egypt to work in their California home. The bodies were found Monday, after relatives asked police to check on the welfare of the three women.
Police say 75-year-old Jolyn Hazel Vigen was the mother of the other two victims, 40-year-old Angela Lynn Vigen and 35-year-old Jennifer Gail Vigen.
“Jolyn; sweet, sweet lady. Very sharp,” family friend Ronald Beasley said.
Beasley lived with the family for five years in their Mounds View home while he dated Angela.
“I’ve never seen a person with down syndrome that was as smart as Jennifer, she was very funny,” Beasley explained.
And Angela: “She was always a giver, if you needed something, you could come to Angela. She dedicated her life to her mom and her sister, she took care of them,” Beasley said.
Police say the 38-year-old Ellis was the boyfriend of Angela Vigen and had been living in the home. In documents filed Wednesday, authorities say Ellis bludgeoned Angela Vigen to death, then stabbed her sister and mother so there would be no witnesses.
Police say the suspect stabbed himself while he was being arrested in Minneapolis on Monday night.
According to the documents charging Ellis with murder, investigators found Jolyn and Jennifer Vigen dead in a bedroom. Angela Vigen’s body was found in a locked room in the basement, with a hammer lying nearby.

I posted this to get everyones feed back on this, and I am completely on Palestine’s side,
The civilized world is shocked and appalled by the Israeli attacks on the densely populated Gaza Concentration Camp that - so far – has left 282 Occupied Palestinians dead and 900 wounded (120 critically). No doubt this appalling death and injury toll will rise.
The ostensible excuse by Apartheid Israel for its actions – and the excuse given for racist US and racist White Australian support for Apartheid Israel’s actions – is the barrage of rocket and mortar attacks on nearby towns coming from the Gaza Concentration Camp (guarded by the Israeli Navy at sea, and on land by the Israeli Army and by the Egyptian Army under acute threat from nuclear terrorist, racist Zionist (RZ) rogue state Apartheid Israel).
Yet if one assesses from official Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs data how many Israelis have actually been killed by murderous Gaza rockets and mortars in the last eight (8) years the total comes to twenty three (23).
Without in any way diminishing these tragic deaths from morally wrong, idiotic, counterproductive Occupied Palestinian violence, one must put these violent Israeli deaths into the dispassionate context of HOMICIDE (as opposed to anti-Arab anti-Semitic, racist, holocaust-ignoring Western and Zionist propaganda about “genocidal threat” and “terror” from “Islamic terrorists”).
Each year in the State of Israel (average 2000-2008 population about 7 million) about 15 people out of every million (i.e. 15 x 7 = 105 Israelis) are murdered by fellow Israelis who go “mad” from ANGER, greed, lust, fear, jealous or whatever – as compared to about 56 deaths per million per year in the gun-toting US (and about 200 deaths per million per year for African-Americans).source

A teen convicted in the “Jena Six” beating case shot himself in the chest and was taken to the hospital Monday, days after his arrest on a shoplifting charge, police said.
The 18-year-old used a .22-caliber firearm in the shooting around 7:40 p.m., she said.
Wooten believes Bell was upset over media coverage of the arrest last week.
“I think he was upset over the incident … and didn’t want to be in the news again,” she said.
Bell was one of a group of black teenagers who once faced attempted murder charges in the 2006 beating of a white classmate at Jena High School. The charges for all of the defendants were reduced.
The severity of the original charges brought widespread criticism and eventually led to more than 20,000 people converging in September 2007 on the tiny central Louisiana town of Jena for the largest civil rights march in decades.more

“There’s a 55-45% chance right now that disintegration will occur,” he says. “One could rejoice in that process,” he adds, poker-faced. “But if we’re talking reasonably, it’s not the best scenario — for Russia.” Though Russia would become more powerful on the global stage, he says, its economy would suffer because it currently depends heavily on the dollar and on trade with the U.S.
Mr. Panarin posits, in brief, that mass immigration, economic decline, and moral degradation will trigger a civil war next fall and the collapse of the dollar. Around the end of June 2010, or early July, he says, the U.S. will break into six pieces — with Alaska reverting to Russian control.
In addition to increasing coverage in state media, which are tightly controlled by the Kremlin, Mr. Panarin’s ideas are now being widely discussed among local experts. He presented his theory at a recent roundtable discussion at the Foreign Ministry. The country’s top international relations school has hosted him as a keynote speaker. During an appearance on the state TV channel Rossiya, the station cut between his comments and TV footage of lines at soup kitchens and crowds of homeless people in the U.S. The professor has also been featured on the Kremlin’s English-language propaganda channel, Russia Today.

Webb sets sights on Prison Reform |

James Webb to the U.S. Senate, he found himself in the frigid interior of a Japanese prison.
A journalist at the time, he was working on an article about Ed Arnett, an American who had spent two years in Fuchu Prison for possession of marijuana. In a January 1984 Parade magazine piece, Webb described the harsh conditions imposed on Arnett, who had frostbite and sometimes labored in solitary confinement making paper bags.
“But, surprisingly, Arnett, home in Omaha, Neb., says he prefers Japan’s legal system to ours,” Webb wrote. “Why? ‘Because it’s fai r,’ he said.”
This spring, Webb (D-Va.) plans to introduce legislation on a long-standing passion of his: reforming the U.S. prison system. Jails teem with young black men who later struggle to rejoin society, he says. Drug addicts and the mentally ill take up cells that would be better used for violent criminals. And politicians have failed to address this costly problem for fear of being labeled “soft on crime.”
It is a gamble for Webb, a fiery and cerebral Democrat from a staunchly law-and-order state. Virginia abolished parole in 1995, and it trails only Texas in the number of people it has executed. Moreover, as the country struggles with two wars overseas and an ailing economy, overflowing prisons are the last thing on many lawmakers’ minds. more

Officials would not provide the exact number of missing, but about 20 men in their late teens and early 20s have disappeared in recent months and are thought to have joined Islamist rebels who are on the verge of overthrowing the U.S.- and U.N.-backed government in Somalia.
Most were from the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, the site of the largest concentration of ethnic Somalis in the U.S., but other Somali communities have had young men go missing as well.
The FBI assisted in returning the remains of one Somali man, Shirwa Ahmed, a naturalized U.S. citizen killed Oct. 29 in a suicide bombing in northern Somalia.
The FBI would not say whether Mr. Ahmed was a bomber or victim in the attack, in which five terrorists killed themselves and 29 others.
In another incident, U.S. officials confirmed that a missile strike in Somalia had killed a Seattle man suspected of being an Islamist radical working with an al Qaeda-affiliated group. more

Rap music originated in medieval Scottish pubs or Did It? |

According to the theory, Scottish slave owners took the tradition with them to the United States, where it was adopted and developed by slaves, emerging many years later as rap.
Professor Szasz is convinced there is a clear link between this tradition for settling scores in Scotland and rap battles, which were famously portrayed in Eminem’s 2002 movie 8 Mile.
He said: “The Scots have a lengthy tradition of flyting - intense verbal jousting, often laced with vulgarity, that is similar to the dozens that one finds among contemporary inner-city African-American youth.
“Both cultures accord high marks to satire. The skilled use of satire takes this verbal jousting to its ultimate level - one step short of a fist fight.”more
Some time after the death of Baldr, many of the gods went to Ægir’s hall on the island of Hlesey for a feast. Using his enormous kettle, Ægir brewed oceans of ale for his guests. Many of the Æsir were present, including Loki. Horns were kept full of ale, and the hall was filled with a great peace.
Loki couldn’t stand the praise being heaped on Ægir’s servant, Fimafengr, and killed him. The outraged Æsir took up their arms and chased Loki out of the hall into the surrounding forest. Eventually, the gods returned to the hall and resumed their places. Outside, Loki quarreled with Eldir, another servant, for re-admittance to the hall, promising that before the end of the feast, he’d blend the gods’ mead with malice. As Loki entered the hall, the conversation stopped, and the hall fell silent.

Six youths ages 13 to 15 have alleged that over the past seven years they were bound, gagged and blindfolded, then videotaped or photographed trying to escape, in a strange “rope trick” game Kaplan concocted for his sexual gratification.
As a youth soccer coach, he was known for teaching life skills — not just corner kicks and dribbling — to his teenage players.
In both roles, he was known for being sociable, inviting teams and families to his rural acreage for picnics and dips in his swimming pool after matches, and hosting dinners for students and families at holidays and after final exams.
Thursday, shocked and bewildered soccer parents and students tried to square those perceptions with the bizarre criminal allegations the 57-year-old divorced man now faces.
“I’m going to have to see the evidence to believe it. It’s a shock,” said Brad Bailey of Lincoln, whose son played for Kaplan.source

She reported it to the police, who were initially suspicious that the money was drug-related until store managers at Whole Foods in Tustin said an elderly woman had come in a few days earlier, hysterical because she had mistakenly returned a box of crackers with her life savings inside. The woman, who remains anonymous, had lost faith in her bank and decided the box would be a safer place for the money.more

The main blame lies at the foot of our government who continues to refuse to secure our borders and keep vicious animals like Julio Cesar Ramos out of our communities, even after they have been deported 12 times.
Paulette Locklear, 64, was a good samaritan in North Carolina who was just helping out who she thought was a poor man down on his luck. She gave him shelter and provided him work. It turns out that the man she was helping though was 12 time deported illegal alien Julio Cesar Ramos and she paid dearly for her generosity with her life after Ramos allegedly beat her to death. While some illegal aliens come to this country looking for work, it seems that more often than not they are taking advantage of Americans. Whether that be by beating them to death, taking their jobs or leeching off of our education and social services. more

Al Qaeda Plays the Malcom Card |

When media reports emerged that al Qaeda’s second in command, Ayman al-Zawahiri, disparaged President-elect Barack Hussein Obama as a “house negro,” it angered many in the black community. However, it also struck a chord.
The Egyptian physician — who is reportedly Osama bin Laden’s confidant — actually used the phrase “house slave,” but it was later translated as “house negro.”
Al-Zawahiri said, “You [Obama] represent the direct opposite of honorable black Americans like Malik al-Shabazz or Malcolm X,” who “condemned the crimes of the Crusader West against the weak and oppressed, and he declared his support for peoples resisting American occupation.”
The al Qaeda leader said Obama, Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice “confirmed” Malcolm X’s definition of a “house slave.” He was referring to Malcolm X’s distinction between slave-era “house Negroes,” who lived comfortably in the big house abetting white supremacy, and “field negroes,” who toiled in the fields under the whip, plotting resistance. source
